Your 3 Days From Fes To Merzouga begins early in the morning. After crossing the Middle Atlas mountains, you’ll drive to Ifrane, a town nicknamed “Little Switzerland” that will make you feel momentarily transported out of Morocco. Continuing through this unique landscape, you’ll arrive at the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you’ll have the chance to encounter some local apes.
Next, you’ll make your way to the town of Midelt, a beautiful village renowned for its sweet apples. Take a stroll through the village and stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll continue your journey towards the Erg Chebbi desert. Along the way, marvel at the stunning Ziz Gorges, with its picturesque palm tree-lined valley, mountains, and ancient kasbahs.
In the evening, upon reaching Erg Chebbi, you can enjoy a delicious dinner at a traditional riad or local kasbah.
Begin your day by witnessing a spectacular desert sunrise.
