    Day 1Arrival to Casablanca

    On the to begin with day of your 13 Days Tour from Casablanca, we will choose you up from the airplane terminalharbour, or your convenience in Casablanca. As the economic capital and largest city in Morocco, Casablanca is an excellent starting point for your journey.

    The day will begin with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, located on the city’s western coast. Perched on a promontory, the mosque offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

    Following the midday break, we will explore the city further, including a stop at the amazing Corniche of Casablanca. This seaside promenade offers stunning vistas and a glimpse into the vibrant local life.

    Day 2Casablanca = Rabat = Assilah

    From Casablanca, we will drive along the coastline to Rabat, one of the royal cities of Morocco and the current capital. Upon arrival, we will explore the highlights of the Moroccan capital, including the iconic Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas.

    After the morning tour, you will have free time for lunch in Rabat. 

    In the afternoon, we will head north to the beautiful seaside city of Assilah. This charming coastal town is known for its picturesque medina, vibrant art scene, and stunning beaches.

    Day 3Assilah = Tangier = Chefchaouen "The Blue city"

    Departing from Assilah, we will drive along the coastline to the city of Tangier, often referred to as “the bride of the north”. Situated at the northwestern tip of Morocco, Tangier is located where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, just off Cape Spartel in the Strait of Gibraltar.

    Upon arrival in Tangier, we will first explore the beautiful city, visiting the Cave of Hercules and the iconic Cape Spartel. After the morning tour, you will have free time for lunch.

    In the afternoon, we will drive inland to the charming city of Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the stunning Rif Mountains. We will make stops along the way to take in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

    Day 4Full day in Chefchaouen

    Today, we will explore Chefchaouen, the picturesque “Blue City” also known as Achaoun, meaning “horns” in the local Berber language. Located in the Rif Mountains of northwestern Morocco, Chefchaouen is renowned for its buildings and alleyways painted in stunning shades of white and blue.

    We will begin our day by strolling through the charming old medina, which is adorned with authentic blue doors and whitewashed walls. After the morning tour, you will have free time for lunch.

    In the afternoon, we recommend hiking up to the Spanish Mosque, situated on high ground overlooking the entire Blue City. From this vantage point, you can take in the spectacular views of the vibrant, blue-hued townscape.

    Day 5Chefchaouen = Meknes = Fes

    After breakfast, you will have free time to wander through the beautiful blue-hued alleyways of Chefchaouen at your own pace. 

    Departing Chefchaouen, we will then drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. This well-preserved archaeological site is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasting an array of stunning mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways.

    Following our exploration of the Volubilis ruins, we will drive approximately 30 kilometers to the imperial city of Meknes. Here, we will visit the impressive Bab El-Mansour gateway, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the granaries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

    Finally, we will continue our journey to the historic city of Fes, where we will check into a traditional riad for our overnight stay.

    Day 6Full day in Fes

    On the 6th day of our 13 Days Tour from Casablanca, we will dedicate our time to exploring the highlights of the historic city of Fes. As one of the country’s imperial cities, Fes is considered the cultural and religious center of Morocco.

    We will begin the day by visiting the gate of the Royal Palace, then venture into the well-preserved medieval medina, which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the entrance, you will see the striking blue-tiled Bab Boujloud, also known as the “Blue Gate,” which leads into the labyrinth of alleyways and streets that make up the old medina.

    Once inside, we will visit the Medersa Bou Inania, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous Fes Tanneries. We will also tour the Kairaouine Mosque and University, which is considered the oldest continuously operating university in the world.

    After exploring the medina, we will leave to visit the historic Jewish Quarter, or “Mellah,” of Fes.

    In the afternoon, we will drive to an ancient fortress overlooking the medina and the city of Fes, providing stunning panoramic views. Finally, we will return to our riad for the evening.

    Day 7Fes = Ifrane = Midelt = Ziz valley = Merzouga Sahara

    Continuing our 13 Days Tour from Casablanca, we will head south through the town of Imouzzer to visit the city of Ifrane. Known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” Ifrane is famous for its low temperatures, snowfall, and alpine-style architecture.

    After exploring Ifrane, we will travel to the nearby cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaque monkeys. Here, you will have the opportunity to wander through the forest and even feed the friendly primates.

    Leaving the cedar forest, we will make our way to the town of Midelt, where you will have free time for lunch.

    We will then drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the scenic Ziz Valley, stopping to take in the panoramic views, before reaching the Sahara Desert in Merzouga.

    Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will transfer to camels and cross the vast sandy expanse of the desert. We will make a stop at the top of a high dune to witness the breathtaking sunset.

    Finally, we will continue on to our desert camp, a unique blend of traditional Berber tents and modern comforts. Here, you can enjoy Berber music and dance around the campfire under the stars. Dinner and an overnight stay in the desert camp are included.

    Day 8Merzouga = Nomads = Merzouga lake = Erg Chebbi

    Wake up early in the morning to witness the beautiful desert sunrise. After breakfast, return to Merzouga on camels, where the driver will be waiting. On the 8th day of your 13 days tour of Morocco, we will explore the Merzouga region. This area is filled with incredible sights, from sand dunes and a wild lake to mines, fossils, and fabulous oases – perfect for a variety of outdoor activities.

    We’ll begin our journey in Merzouga. Then we’ll visit the nomads in their handmade tents, learning about their way of life while enjoying traditional Berber tea. Next, we’ll head to the village of Khamlia, where you can experience the Gnaoua music and dance performances of the inhabitants, who hail from countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After a free lunch, we’ll take a stroll through a palm tree grove before driving to the wild flamingo lake of Merzouga. The day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

    Day 9Merzouga Sahara = Rissani = Erfoud = Tinger = Dades Valley

    Leaving the desert, we will visit the town of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a major trading center in the region, with a large, bustling souk (market).

    After exploring the Rissani souk, we will continue on to Erfoud, where we will visit one of the workshops specializing in fossilized marble. From there, we’ll drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges. The Todra River has carved a grand, high-walled canyon through the mountains, creating an ideal setting for rock climbing. Feel free to wander through the gorges and appreciate the stunning natural beauty.

    After a free lunch, we’ll continue on to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we’ll make inevitable stops to see the “monkey fingers” rock formation and take in the breathtaking views of the Dades Valley. The day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

    Day 10Boumalne = Roses Valley = Ouarzazate = Telouet = Marrakech

    We will continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna, where we will visit the Rose Valley. Each May, the locals hold a Rose Festival, offering a variety of rose-based products for sale, including perfumes, rose water, oil, and cosmetics. 

    From there, we’ll drive through the palm groves of Skoura before reaching Ouarzazate, where we’ll visit the film studios where many famous movies have been shot.

    Next, we’ll depart for the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Kasbah has appeared in numerous films, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as the TV series Game of Thrones.

    After exploring the Kasbah, we’ll continue on to Marrakech, driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll make stops along the way for lunch and to take pictures at interesting viewpoints. The day will end with an overnight stay in a riad (traditional Moroccan guesthouse) in Marrakech.

    Day 11Full day in Marrakech

    we’ll explore the highlights of Marrakech with a local guide. As one of the four imperial cities of Morocco, Marrakech is packed with remarkable sights. Our tour will include visits to the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic Mosque. We’ll also stroll through the largest traditional souk (market) in Morocco.

    After a free lunch near Jemaa El-Fna square, we’ll visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, as well as the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Finally, we’ll transfer you to your accommodation. Feel free to wander Jemaa El-Fna square on your own to soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

    Day 12Marrakech "The Red city"= Essaouira

    We’ll drive west to the city of Essaouira, making stops along the way to see the argan trees with goats grazing in them, and to take in panoramic views of the countryside. 

    Once we reach Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, we’ll explore this historic coastal city. Our visit will include the fishing port, the ancient ramparts with cannons, and the old medina (historic city center).

    Day 13Essaouira = Casablanca
